Reversible 1-of-1 beanie. Made this one a tag more snug (approx. 22" circumference). The exterior is cut from a vintage woven throw blanket hand-selected from thrift shops around New England. I love hunting for these—they probably belonged to someone’s grandmother and have that "worn to perfection" feel with a level of character you can't fake.
The interior is lined with PolarTec Power Grid fleece. It’s a technical bi-component knit that is moisture-wicking, highly breathable, and provides warmth without the weight. Most importantly, it's designed to hug your head for a secure, comfortable fit.
Everything is constructed by hand in my Boston apt on a heavy-duty 1970s Kenmore sewing machine.
