For 15 years or so, I’ve been creating clothing and upcycled pieces. I started out stenciling thrifted tees, and after my ma taught me how to use a machine (shout out!), I began making clothing and bags. I enjoy making things and seeing the homies rock them.

Strug (No Money) came about when I was a 13-year-old kid with no cash to burn. Back then, I was just trying to connect my iPod Touch 5 to the U Street McDonald’s Wi-Fi so I could snag a free 10-piece nugget because the Caps won!

My inspiration comes from my time skating in the DMV and exploring New England as a kid, from the Maine coast to DIY skate spots in Maryland and the District, mixed with a love for vintage outdoorwear and the process of making things by hand, things I've always been passionate about.

Today, I hand-make these items right here in Boston, MA. A lot of love to everyone who has supported and continues to support. <3
